In Minispectacles three minimal events take the stage: plastic bottles in a river swirl, a rock’s explosion in a deserted landscape and a flock of ducks hiding behind the bushes. Suomi-Väänänen, the maker, calls them cinematic haikus, which may give some hints of what these peculiar recordings are trying to portray. Each micro movie is a small trip to the personal world of the artist.
